Why you should never drink old water left over from a plastic bottle

Houston (KIAH) Do you have a reusable plastic water bottle?Did you leave the water there overnight and then continue drinking it the next day?After reading this article, you probably won’t do it again.
A new scientific report says you should stop doing this immediately.Use at least a soft, reusable plastic water bottle.
Researchers at the University of Copenhagen analyzed water samples after they had been in it for 24 hours and found that they contained chemicals.They discovered hundreds of substances, including “photoinitiators,” which disrupt your hormones and can cause cancer.
To make matters worse…they took more samples after the bottle went through the dishwasher.They found more chemicals there.They say it could be because your dishwasher wears down the plastic and lets it soak more chemicals into the water.
The study’s lead author said he would never use plastic water bottles now, instead recommending good quality stainless steel water bottles.
